China looks to West to help it boost healthcare provision

That China regards its health care system as a matter of national importance and government focus is hardly new; in fact, better public health care provision has been a priority of Beijing’s for decades. Nevertheless, the country’s public health system has struggled to keep up with the ageing population and the private health care system is thriving.
